Pat Robertson Said Something Crazy? No. Can’t Be.

By now, most of you have probably heard about Pat Robertson’s call for the assassination of Hugo Chavez, the leftist president of Venezuela. I don’t have much to add, except to note that this statement is not particularly surprising, considering that Robertson has been making extreme comments like this for years. (the linked CNN story has a useful rundown of some of his more offensive statements). It does remind me of how completely hypocritical most of these “pro-life” people are.
