A New Political Party Faces A Potentially Big Problem

A group of white supremacists in Nevada have announced plans to form an official political party, which they intend to call the White People’s Party. An attorney affiliated with the Nevada ACLU brought up an important problem with this plan. He noted that while private groups such as the Aryan Nations and the Klan can reject potential members based on their race, a legally established political party must by law be open to any registered voter who wishes to join. Its primaries and conventions must also be open to any candidate who files the appropriate forms. In a way, I hope they get this party off the ground. The potential to turn the whole thing into a huge practical joke on white power people would be tremendous.
