News Roundup and Gossip

Not a lot has been going on this week in the world of American fringe politics, so I’ll do a quick rundown of some minor stories that have caught my eye:

Some Canadian neo-Nazi skinheads recently made an appearance at a gay pride parade in New London. Unfortunately, they decided to deny their true feelings and protest rather than take part.

The St. Louis chapter of the National Alliance has decided to throw their allegiance behind Kevin Strom’s waxing splinter organization, National Vanguard. The St. Louis chapter is regarded as one of the most active and well-organized NA branches in the U.S., and its loss is yet another blow to what remains of the old leadership in West Virginia.

I was going to link to a ridiculous article on the One People’s Project website that equated Al-Qaeda’s goals with those of the Bush administration’s, but the site’s down yet again. It seems that they have problems with getting kicked off their hosting servers due to the sometimes threatening tone of their postings. If they want to keep running, they would do well to follow the example of their white power brethren and buy their own server.
